What's more expensive? Evian water or Printer Ink or Gas?

Nobody is very pleased with the price of gas these days, every time you fill up it costs a tremendous amount, and it is just getting more and more expensive. To use one's car however, means using gas. It is a fact of life that car's use gas and it is expensive. So what is one to do? If only there was an option, or options out there for less expensive gas. Alternative sources, less expensive and better for the environment. If only there was better gas for your car. Is there a less expensive and better for the environment gas option out there?

Exchange the word 'printer' for 'car' and 'ink' for 'gas' and it reads just as frustrating. The good news is, there are a better, less expensive ink cartridges that are better for the environment. Evian costs more because their profit margins are higher, in part to pay for all the extra stuff, having nothing to do with the water. If you are wondering what this water example has to do with printer ink, this example is the same as an OEM (genuine) cartridge vs a compatible or remanufactured cartridge. Is the cost of manufacturing the OEM cartridge any more expensive? NO. Is there any real difference between the water, oops I mean inks? NO. Is the markup more? YES. Marketing, higher margins, etc are built into the price that you are being forced to pay.

So you may not have a choice at the pumps, but you sure do with water and printer ink!
